The Kentucky Science Center is a nonprofit organization and relies on your generous support to expand its science literacy campaign. The Kentucky Science Center is also home to the Alexander Building, which opened in 1880. The center also opened a new Science Education Wing on the first floor in 2009. The facility features four science-workshop labs that encourage hands-on participation and learning. The Alexander Building covers nearly 37,000 square feet. A membership to the Kentucky Science Center is a great way to support the center and explore the exhibits. For as little as $109 for a family of two, a membership will give you free entrance to all exhibits and discounts on movie tickets. As a Visitor Services Specialist (VS), you’ll be a leader in customer service and a science ambassador for the Kentucky Science Center. In addition to being an integral part of daily operations, the Visitor Services Specialist will train new employees and oversee the department’s activities.
